PVC
SAFTEC® is a low temperature polyolefinic Masterbatch of an endothermic chemical nucleating and blowing agent for the creation of a foam structure in thermoplastic injection molding and extrusion applications. SAFTEC® Masterbatches for PVC contain SAFTEC® powder and special olefinic surfactants and carrier resins, which improve melt tension and melt flow. It is commonly used in injection molding for creation of structural foam. In extrusion operations, it is used for the creation of standard size cells in medium density extrudate. All SAFTEC® powders are made with special surfactants, which result in:
- Improved bubble stability
- Slowed moisture absorption and diffusion rate
- Improved CO2 solubility rate
- Extended shelf life
- Excellent dispersion
